Hello, and welcome to the companion forum for the book, "50 Mistakes Poets Make"!
The information in this book has been used in numerous colleges, high schools and workshops, and is constantly being revisited for continued relevancy.

A word on access:
This is the only message you can see in this forum if you aren't cleared to use it.
You can only see and post in the entries here if you have been "friended" (you DID get a code out of the back of the book, didn't you?). That way the people who bought the book can dialogue, debate and question to their hearts content!

A word on the entries:
There's an entry for every one of the 50 mistakes listed in the book. If there's a particular one you want more information, advice or opinion on, just click on the easily marked entry for that mistake. It's that simple!

We here at Black Air Press hope that you'll find this new, constantly evolving resource not only helpful, but fun. We're a pretty laid-back bunch here, so we can't promise that you won't hear bad words or things you don't agree with, but we do promise you a more than reasonable democratic environment within which to state your opinions, ask your questions and get more info on how to make your poetry better. It was a lot of fun to put together, and though a lot of it comes off as tough love, it's still love.
